We cannot wait to celebrate this special day with you.

Our party location has changed... we will now be celebrating in Weimar's Old Town. To ensure everyone can travel comfortably to Ettersburg — and back to Weimar afterward — we are organizing a shuttle bus.
Please let us know whether you plan to take the shuttle or if you will be driving yourself. The best way to reach us is via WhatsApp, email, or this contact form.
Our Story
It all began on a scorching 40°C February day in 2010 in Perth.
A typical hot Aussie summer day.
Sebastien first offered Annika a bottle of water… and soon after, a job.
On that very first day he told a friend: “I’m going to marry her one day.”
Bold words - Sixteen years later, here we are.
With two wonderful children, countless memories, and plenty of challenges we’ve faced.
We’ve grown side by side, supported one another,
and learned that as a team, we can handle anything.
We make a pretty good team.
And now it’s time to celebrate not only our love, but us as a family.

Dresscode
Elegant & festive
We’d love everyone to dress in a smart, elegant way, choosing soft and harmonious tones.
Beautiful options include beige, blue, sage, grey, dusty rose or other soft, muted hues.
Dark or black outfits are also perfectly fine for both ladies and gentlemen.
We kindly ask to avoid very bright colours or bold patterns (like large prints), so the overall look feels cohesive and elegant.
Most importantly, feel comfortable and ready to celebrate with us.

Getting to Erfurt/ Weimar from abroad
If you’re travelling from abroad, the easiest airports to get to us are
Frankfurt/ Main, Munich, Berlin or Leipzig, followed by a train to get here.
We live right in the middle of Germany
and have very good transportation connections.
From Frankfurt Airport, there is a direct train to Erfurt – usually without any changes. But other routes are easy to manage as well.
And of course, we’ll be happy to pick you from the train station so you can arrive relaxed and stress-free.
PS: Please make sure you are not arriving in Frankurt Hahn. This is a more budget airport but the connections are mostly trouble related.
Where to stay & Getting around
We live in a small, charming village called Erfurt-Hochstedt.
There's a train station just 1 km from our house in the neighboring village of Erfurt-Vieselbach. From there, it's only about a 5-minute train ride to Erfurt's main train station. From there, you can easily take the tram to the beautiful medieval old town. Trains also run to Weimar without any problems.
Unfortunately, accommodation options directly at our home are limited.
However, the city centers of Weimar and Erfurt offer many lovely hotels, guesthouses, and vacation rentals. We live practically between the two cities, so there are plenty of options.
In Erfurt, we especially recommend accommodations in the Old Town (ALtstadt) around Cathedral Square (Domplatz), the Fischmarkt, Anger and the surrounding streets — this puts you right in the heart of the city.
Of course, there are also options outside the central areas, but the city center is the most convenient and beautiful.
Since our celebration will be taking place in Weimar, accommodations in Weimar's old town are also perfect. It's a fantastic historical city, perfect for exploring Goethe, Schiller, the beautiful parks, and the old town.
... If you prefer to remain flexible, we are also happy to help you organize a rental car so that you can explore the surroundings on your own.
